Minimizing waste
We give a scrap. All of our excess scrap materials are used for sampling to minimize waste at our factories.
We hate waste. We're also not big fans of clutter. Especially when it comes to our bags and landfills. So we're doing something about it. In partnership with Archive, we've created our resale program,Almost Vintage. Almost Vintage lets you buy and sell used Dagne Dover goods, encouraging eco-friendlier fashion and a happier Mama Earth.
Reuse & recycle
We use Repreve® recycled material in all of our linings and dust bags, and have styles created entirely from of this durable, versatile material made from recycled plastic bottles (peep the Nova Sling Bag or our Puff collection). Compared to virgin fiber, Repreve® requires less water and energy and emits less greenhouse gases.
When we have excess inventory or returns, we donate them to charities like the Shelter Partnership of Los Angelesso that they can live a second (or third) life. We love the fact that our products find new homes and can go to those in need.
